Is there a way to shrink a wool sweater without felting it? - does merino shrink
I just knit a sweater, and I tried (I'm 90% done with it) and seems a little too big (I think it can, because I lost 5-10 pounds between the start of the sweater. .. If he wanted one measuring spot ... and now).
I do not want to weave frog and again. I wish it would shrink, but I will not be felt, as I like the points of difference. Is there any way to the jersey without it turning into a large block of reducing odors? This is a point of Paton's classic merino wool. (100% wool)
** Please only serious answers from people who know what they're talking about ... no suggestions from people who are just guesses .... I do not want to destroy my sweater, to something someone thought it was a good idea to trybut not reduced or wool / knitting experience, etc. **
