At your age, your chances of breast cancer very close to zero. 80% of people diagnosed with it are more than 50 years and women in their 20s and 30s are considered too young to take, and represent only a very small percentage of cases diagnosed.
ReplyDeleteIt is extremely rare in a teenager.
Even adult women (including more than 50 years), the majority of breast lumps are not cancerous. Most breast cancers are not painful.
They are worried because of course your nan cancer, but only 5 to 10% of breast cancers are hereditary and the rest are random and chances are your nan was. In addition, older when the cancer is diagnosed the less likely it is hereditary cancer, including breast cancer, diagnosed after the age of 50 years is likely to be hereditary.
Are your breasts to grow and evolve, and you will see the changes, some of them unpleasant. What you describe is almost certainly hormonal.
You should talk to your mother about this, she understands your concerns, I am sure can and will be able to reassure.
If it's a pain, I do not believe in breast cancer. You probably have a cyst or a fibroadenoma that is not cancer. Make an appointment with your gynecologist. It is highly unlikely that the 14 years that you have cancer. I work with patients with breast cancer and I'm pretty sure that you do not.
ReplyDeletecould be a cyst, which will take care of themselves after a while, but certainly not waiting around .. I come and see a doctor to be on the safe side .. but with his age, I doubt very seriously that breast cancer ..
